1. Information We Collect
trovetool works without any sign-up or login and does not directly collect personal information. Every value you enter into a tool (amounts, rates, text, and so on) is processed entirely inside your own browser and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
2. Information Collected Automatically
To operate the website, the following information may be collected automatically:
- IP address, browser type, operating system, and access time (Vercel/Cloudflare access logs)
- Traffic statistics such as pages visited and time on page (Google Analytics)
- Your preferences — for example, dark mode (browser localStorage)
3. Cookies and localStorage
trovetool uses localStorage and cookies for the following purposes:
- Saving your dark/light mode preference (localStorage)
- Saving your cookie-consent status (localStorage)
- Ad serving and personalization (Google AdSense cookies, if introduced)
- Traffic analysis (Google Analytics cookies)
On your first visit, a cookie-consent banner asks for your agreement. If you decline, the core features of the site still work, although some personalized features may be limited.
4. Google AdSense
This site may use advertising networks such as Google AdSense to help cover operating costs. These networks work as follows:
- Google and its advertising partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising in your Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of cookies used by third-party advertising vendors at aboutads.info.
5. Third-Party Services
This site uses the following third-party services:
- Vercel — hosting and static-file delivery
- Vercel Analytics — cookieless visitor statistics (based on IP/UA, no personal identification)
- Cloudflare — DNS and security
- jsDelivr — CDN for the Pretendard Korean font
- Google AdSense — advertising (if introduced)
- Google Analytics — traffic analysis
When you use each service, that service's own privacy policy also applies.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
trovetool's own servers store no user data, so there is no separate deletion procedure on our side. Logs held by third-party services follow each service's retention policy.
7. Your Rights
To remove preferences stored in your browser, use your browser's clear-site-data feature. Requests to delete logs held by third-party services must be made through each service's own user policy.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, we update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We announce material changes separately through a site notice.
